Northrop McNaughtan Deller is a niche firm of solicitors specialising in intellectual property within the entertainment industry. The three partners Tim Northrop, Christy McNaughtan and Martin Deller all previously worked together at Searles solicitors and made the decision to set up the new firm following the dissolution of Searles in August 2004. The partners have a combined total of thirty-four years experience working as solicitors in the entertainment and predominantly music industries. This experience has enabled them to gain a close understanding of the industry they work in and the mechanics of exploiting and protecting their clients' copyright and associated rights.
